Charlie Flores

senior Pastor

With a deep love for the teaching of God’s Word and a great burden for the lost, Pastor Charlie has devoted himself to presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a clear, contemporary, and relevant manner through the means of expository preaching and teaching of the Word of God. Having received Jesus Christ during the “Jesus Movement” in the early Seventies and influenced greatly in those days by Pastor Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa, California, Pastor Charlie continues to believe that the same passion and love for Christ exhibited then can once again spark a great revival in the Church before the return of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Charlie looks forward to seeing the Lord do even greater works with the congregation of CCEP.

Educated in El Paso, with a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of Texas at El Paso, Pastor Charlie married his wife, Ceci, in 1976 and has served as a Chaplain with the El Paso Police Department and the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.

Sean Martinez

Worship Pastor/Administrator

Pastor Sean has been on staff at Calvary Chapel of El Paso since May of 2006 as the worship leader and was ordained as a Pastor in December of 2007. He has attended Calvary Chapel of El Paso since 1984 (he was 4 years old) when the church was meeting as an outreach of Calvary Chapel of Las Cruces and has enjoyed the privilege of growing along with the fellowship here. (His father, Pastor James, was ordained as a pastor in June of 1991.)
Born in 1980, Pastor Sean first came to know the Lord at eight years old on a Saturday night in June of 1988. After attending a week-long Vacation Bible School and a Friday night church lock-in, God took hold of his heart and he prayed to receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. The next 15 years were a series of tremendous highs and lows but several family members and close friends faithfully prayed for Sean and God had His hand upon him throughout. Eventually, Sean experienced a spiritual revival brought about by the baptism of the Holy Spirit upon his life.

Pastor Sean is currently in his third career after having spent time as a golf professional for nearly three years and then as a teacher/coach at Eastwood High School for three years. God has given him a heart for the "next generation" that is battling to find answers in the midst of a sea of conflicting ideas from "post-modern Christianity" and the Emerging/Emergent Church to the Ecumenical movement and "watered down, cotton candy" Christianity.

Currently, Pastor Sean serves as the church administrator, worship leader, and is a member of the Pastoral Church Board.

Pastor Sean is the second son of Pastor James and Betty Martinez. He has an older brother already in heaven with the Lord and his younger brother, Sam, is the Youth Pastor overseeing the Jr. High, High School, and College Ministries.

Pastor Sean is happily married to his wonderful wife, Denise, who also has a pastor for a father, Pastor Joe Nava of Calvary Chapel Mission Valley. Together, Sean and Denise have 4 beautiful children, 2 girls and 2 boys.

Tom Delgado

Assistant Pastor

A former Allstate insurance agent led Tom and his wife, Mary, into a relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in 1985. In 1987, he was ordained as an associate pastor at the church where he was attending. He later pastored a small Spanish congregation for several years. Tom began attending Calvary Chapel of El Paso in 1997 and came on staff as an assistant pastor on January 1, 2005.
Pastor Tom Delgado was born in Galveston, Texas and grew up in Laredo, Texas. He moved to California where he tried to break into the entertainment business as a singer and conga player. He auditioned for several major secular labels during his career as an entertainer. Feeling that he needed to make changes in his life, he moved to El Paso, Texas in 1980. He then became a successful insurance agent selling Allstate Insurance.

Sam Martinez

Assistant Pastor

I am thankful for the things that God has brought into my life and the opportunity He is continuing to give me to be in the youth. My desire is to lead those that walk into the room into a deeper relationship with Jesus. I want them to know that if God can use me He can use them too.

I heard it said that a child’s life is like a journal. As a youth pastor I am lucky if I get one line on one page of that journal of their life. My desire is that the line I leave leads them to Jesus.
I have the privilege of being the Youth Pastor here at Calvary Chapel of El Paso. I started serving in the youth as  a Jr. High leader around 2002 and in 2011 I became the High School Youth Pastor. Currently I oversee the Jr. High, High School, and College ministries.

There have been countless blessings I have received from being involved with the youth ministry. I met my wife, Melissa Martinez, while we were both serving in the youth under Pastor Joe Nava and we got married June 21,2008. I have two amazing children, Ethan and Leila, who have taught me a lot about patience, faith, and sacrificial love.
